Who we are
Posture Pass is operated by MADEBYZACJ in Australia. In this policy, “Posture Pass”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MADEBYZACJ and the Posture Pass application.
Camera, Face Data and Posture Analysis
What face data does Posture Pass process?
Posture Pass uses the device’s camera only when you start a posture check. During an active check, the app temporarily processes live camera frames and derives limited landmark coordinates relating to your head, ears, chin, shoulders and upper body.
These landmarks are used solely to assess head and shoulder alignment and determine whether you have passed the posture check.
How is face data used?
Temporary landmark coordinates are used only to calculate posture alignment during the active camera session. Some temporary landmark values may be used briefly across consecutive frames to smooth the posture measurement and reduce visual jitter.
Posture Pass does not use facial recognition, does not identify or authenticate users, and does not create biometric identifiers, facial templates or user profiles.
Where is face data processed and stored?
Camera and landmark processing occurs locally on your device. Posture Pass uses the MediaPipe software library locally on the device to calculate posture landmarks.
Camera images, video frames, facial geometry, face landmarks and posture landmarks are not uploaded to our servers, cloud storage, Google, MediaPipe or any other third party. They are not written to permanent device storage or included in device backups by Posture Pass.
How long is face data retained?
Each camera frame is discarded after it has been processed. Temporary landmark coordinates remain only in volatile memory during the active posture check, including briefly across consecutive frames for measurement smoothing. This temporary information is discarded when the posture check ends or the camera session closes.
MADEBYZACJ does not retain face data. Because face data is not permanently retained, there is no stored face-data record requiring a separate deletion request.
Is face data shared?
No. Camera images, video frames, face data and posture landmarks are not transmitted, sold or shared with third parties. They are not used for advertising, analytics, marketing, tracking or profiling.
How can you stop processing?
You can stop camera and face-data processing at any time by ending the posture check, closing the app, or revoking camera access in your device’s iOS Settings.
Screen Time and selected apps
Posture Pass uses Apple’s Screen Time technologies, including Family Controls and Managed Settings, so you can choose which apps are temporarily paused until a posture check is completed.
Apple provides Posture Pass with privacy-preserving, opaque selection tokens representing the apps or categories you choose. Posture Pass does not receive your passwords, messages, content inside other apps or a readable history of what you do inside those apps.
Your selected app tokens and related settings may be stored locally on your device or within the app’s local shared container so the app can remember your choices and apply the requested restrictions. They remain until you change your selection, reset the app’s settings or remove the app.
Subscriptions and payments
Posture Pass offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payments, billing information and purchase transactions. Posture Pass does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
The app may receive limited purchase and entitlement information from Apple through StoreKit so it can confirm whether Posture Pass Premium is active, restore purchases and provide paid features.
Apple’s handling of App Store purchases is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
Other information and accounts
Posture Pass does not require you to create a separate MADEBYZACJ account. The app does not intentionally collect your name, postal address, phone number, contacts, precise location, health records or the content of your communications.
When you contact support by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, device details or screenshots. Support communications are used only to answer your request and resolve problems.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell personal information. We do not share camera data, face data or posture landmarks with advertisers, data brokers or analytics providers.
Apple provides the platform services used for camera permissions, Screen Time controls, app distribution and in-app purchases. Information processed directly by Apple is governed by Apple’s own privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Camera frames and temporary posture landmarks are not retained after the active posture session, as explained in the Camera, Face Data and Posture Analysis section above.
Locally stored preferences, selected app tokens and purchase-entitlement status may remain on your device while the app is installed. You can remove this local information by changing your selections, resetting relevant settings or deleting Posture Pass from your device.
Support emails may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, keep a record of the support request and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of a support email by contacting us.
Your permissions and choices
- Camera: You can deny or revoke camera access in iOS Settings. Posture checks cannot operate without camera access.
- Screen Time: You can change or revoke Screen Time authorisation through the available iOS controls and the app’s settings.
- Selected apps: You can change the apps or categories selected for pausing inside Posture Pass.
- Subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Local data: You can remove locally stored app information by deleting Posture Pass.
Children’s privacy
Posture Pass is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because posture processing occurs on-device and Posture Pass does not create a separate user account, we do not knowingly maintain profiles of children. Parents and guardians should supervise a child’s use of the app and the permissions granted on the device.
Security
Posture Pass is designed to minimise data handling by keeping posture analysis on the device and avoiding the transmission or permanent storage of camera and face data. No method of electronic processing is completely risk-free, but we use reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information handled by the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Posture Pass changes or if legal and platform requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
